Sweet! I love that mark too. Is that new or old?

Damn guys that is my old mark, i liked it too. But i hate stamping on my blades you can make one foul move and have to regrind the knife, my machine etched deep

Thats why you should force patina everything! It just blends in :)

OK.....I gotta see this "removin' the meat from the shell" process......:D:D.

The only turtles that we have around here you buy at the pet store and put 'em in a little swimmin' pool type store bought dealy and throw some goldfish type food at 'em every now and then......:o. I'd love to see what you guys are talkin' about!

Good eats, I'm sure. Even if they weren't, everyone of you is gonna tell me they're the best thing since sliced bread.......;).

How abundant are these turtles and how big/heavy do they get...? I did pull over in Florida once with my faimly in the car while we were on vacation and ran into the middle of the highway to pick up a 1 1/2ft. across turtle that wasn't gonna make it to the other side safely. I felt like OJ running through the airport with this turtle in my arms dodging all these cars.

Funny stuff.......that..:D:D.

Anyway...sweet lookin' little knife, Bill......................................................................you turtle killer.

These are snapping turtles ,you wouldnt grab these up they would grab you, ive seen these go around 25-30 lbs before but they are alot bigger than that the good eating size is around 2-5 pounders

Bill,

Wow...that turned out great  It was really cool getting to see this one from start to finish. By the way, this morning's local newspaper headline was "Snapping Turtles are on "High Alert" due to the Backwoods "Noodler"..:D

I'm thinkin' that these snappin' turtles wouldn't do real good as pets sittin' in a small plastic, toy swimmin' pool on the kitchen table.........;)

I'm also thinkin' that my dog and cat are not going to buddy up to this turtle any to quickly and even though my cat loves everyone and everything, she might not wanna start lickin' this turtle too much.........

Yippee!
Turtle Soup!!!!
Don't spoil it with daymd ol crackers; make a skillet or two of fried cornbread!

Also need a price on that knife, please. Bare handle & blade, drilled for paracord. No sheath.Bare bones.

Sincerely,

~Old ScarredUp Catfish & Snappin Turtle Noodler

Certainly not knockin' anybodies "way of living"....anywhere! Couldn't and wouldn't do that. Truth be told, being born in Austin six decades ago, I saw a few large azz turtles there till I moved up to the PNW.

Now all I see is large azzes the size of Texas turtles...............................:D:D:D.
