Man, that looks good. If I didn't have one coming I'd be all over this and I'm tempted as it is!
 
Wow. I don't usually comment but there is "something" really special about that knife that I haven't seen among the plethora of other 4" bushcraft knives. I really like the placement and differing colors of the pins, very nice. Neat to see a knife in L6 too as I've heard it's rather rare and quite expensive. Any notes on performance compared to other common carbon steels?
 
Common Carbon as in what I term simple carbon? 1095, 1084, 1075... I think the L6 exceeds their performance. L6 is usually in round rod, which makes it a little more difficult to work with. I have a source of some flat stock. The trick is in the heat treat. Full anneal, proper soak in kiln, and a plate quench.
 
They are great Mark they all take and hold a great edge. I edc the compact bushcraft every week love that blade
