I was just about to crack and buy the original version when I saw the revised one available via Kershawguy! I don't think they've been out long at all! Can't wait to get it!
 
Where did you see that, I just looked on the forum and his site? I only see the old one.
 
I kinda want to buy one just to swap out the Ti side on my 551. or I could just put a low ride clip on this one. well congrats to you bernard_s3! love that design!
 
I just picked one up from a dealer on eBay. Fingers crossed its the new one, but I won't be disappointed either way considering the insanely low price I paid
 
Other than the difference in the pocket clip....

How do the other changes affect the knifes performance?
 
I sent in my 550 for some issues a few weeks back, and instead of fixing the old Ti side they replaced it with the new version. There is quite a difference from the old 550. I love the low ride pocket clip and the new cutout is different and I like it a lot better. The detent is much weaker which at first I wasn't crazy about, but now I love it! Not sure if they are all the same as mine, but it is incredibly smooth and IMO improved from the old model.
 
I will buy one soon! Now if they would make a Composite 0550 as well that would be awesome
 
Darn! Just got an older 550 today and the clip is the only thing I didnt love about it. Wished it had my 561 clip and wouldnt ya know :p Oh wells, it will still get much loving.
