The Terry I know would never do anything that bad...chew tobacco.

That is a can of...wait...e-mail...;)

I realized that the picture of the tobacco can was so small it would be hard to identify so I enlarged picture. Check it out it may be easier to now.

Nobody can guess what Brand it is? I'll give you a hint it's a brand of pipe tobacco.

I like it, If I ever get around to saving up the money and not spending it as I do so I might just get one. :o

I like the Sasquatch special-- it looks very elegant yet very durable. Nice contrast between the fabric and the leather.

Looks cool, terry! I've only built one Khuk sheath, and they can be a bear. I opted for old leather and snakeskin on mine.

I had thought of doing one in snake skin but have never gotten around to it yet. Maybe one in lizard skin.
God Bless.

Terry: The Oregon Sasquatch special is incredible! I had thought that some kind of retention strap would be good to keep Mr. Khuk from rattlin' around so much. It's fantastic that you can take a great knife ( understatement ) And give it a great place to live!

Keep up the great work and innovation!:D

P.S. Keith-- purdy cool!

Lizardskin woudl be cool too! I originally thot that the tan canvas on the Sasquathc was some sort of tight scaled reptile skin.

I use it sparingly, as it seems a bit thin, though the scales make for a strong light leather. I kicked around doing one with snakeskin panels...

Thanks for the comment Craig.

If you propped the thing up with a bottle of booze it would probably be easier for this crew to guess.

Reminds me of the time back in college when I smoked a pipe and it took me two years going back every month to the tobacconist and changing the mix just a bit at a time to finally get just the right custom blend for me. I finally got it right.

A month or two later I found a can of british tobacco ( Irish blend ) that tasted exactly the same but smoked cooler. They immediately discontinued import of it to the U.S. of course.

Not only good tobacco but wonderful pipes in the $50 - $70 range at the time ( late 1960's & early 1970's ). Their name was _ _ _ _ _ ' _.

Terry, that rig is gorgeous. Idaho sasquatch hide is much too grainy for scabbard work. How much would a rig like that set a fella back if he sent you the knife?

Raghorn,
The rig runs $75 + sh. That includes the antler chakma and karda handles.
I'm glad you guys like it. A very good friend came up with the plan.
I'm doing chitlangi for a friend of his now.
God Bless.
