ITE is that a belt buckle or pin with the jumping deer knife. I am really not into belt buckles but a small one like that would be neat.

Two 3 dot 111's one smooth scroll and onr matte scroll. Note the subtle differences in the "engraving" on the scales.

Today we show and describe the Buck 331 Large (Grandaddy) Barlow and the 332 Barlow. Both were a SMKWs only, special order via Buck/Camillus contract. In the 331 there are three versions, black sawcut, yellow sawcut and jigged bone. All marked with BUCK stamped in bolster front and rear, and printing on the blade. Tang marked simply BUCK, U.S.A.. The 332 (regular size) comes in two versions, black sawcut and yellow sawcut. Also with BUCK stamped in their bolsters but NO printing on their blades. Again marked BUCK, U.S.A. on the tang. These Camillus contract Buck knives were offered thru SMKWs beginning in 1999 and drifting on a couple years until the supply was exhausted. Just consider them all 1999 dated. You might see a large one with no printing, I have even seen one with the tang stamp ground off. These likely led a hard life and were trying to start over again in a new town. A few black sawcuts may have met the final assembly clause at the closeing of the Camillus factory so watch for all brass rivets.
The small barlow is a decent barlow for the pocket, the yellow is too rare to carry (mine found by a friend). The large barlow is actually more often seen but it's large size limits is usefulness to special occassions. Open length of large barlow 9 inches, last photo shows comparison with 307 Stockman.

Good example of yellow variation, found throughout the Camillus/Buck family.

Another nice one E. Topol, you have some handsome 3 dot, 111 Classics. The sheaths that came with those are attractive too.
300, Great write up and photos. The larger Barlow, 331, is it near the same size as a 307? Great start guys. Thanks, DM

This is a Damascus Buck 110 FG Nickel-silver with Colbaltium Mokume handles. I made this one for me. I love this handle material.

Habbie,

Your knife gathering ability from the other continent is impressive. I tip my hat in respect.

Haebbie, Wow! Are those the model 525's? How did Buck put the print on the handles? Are the handles of ceramic? Thanks, DM

Thanks, guys. The most of them were offered in the States.

DM, the pictures are on a plate of aluminium and it looks like to be anodized.
Try to show a closeup later.

Best,
Haebbie
