The 2 month wait is over! The production ground Talonite TALON's are shipping now from CAMILLUS.

A couple of things to mention....

First, the sheaths are Concealex, from BLADE-TECH. We had tried to use the anticipated new Mini-Tech-Lok. Unfortunately, Blade-Tech was not able to get it ready in time. We will be using the standard Tek-Lok. The sheaths look great. If you liked the construction of the CQB-1 sheath, you will like this sheath.
Second, the overall lenght of the knife has not changed, but you are getting more blade! Because of where we start the plunge cut for the main grind on the blade, we have 'gained' a quarter inch of usuable blade over the original Simoncih CETAN. This was done with Rob's complete approval. THe grind style you see in the ad IS what we are shipping. More blade...same price!

Once again, we apologize for the delays in shipping these knives, and we sincerely believe you will be VERY happy with the results. Enjoy!

Will, great job to all the folks involved. I am impressed with the dedication that Camillus has shown in not releasing the products until the entire package is the way it should be. For any of you that are frustrated with the delays, remember that Camillus, at the risk of losing some sales would not ship the knife until everything was right! Quality first, and that has been what has impressed me so much in my dealings with them. I mentioned this before, but when Camillus asked my approval to move the "beak" back 40 thousands of an inch, I was very inpressed with thir dedication of following the original design, they could have moved that line the .040 and I most likey wouldnt have noticed! And moving the grind back a bit was a good idea on their part, more edge than my custom Cetan's.

So, thanks Will, Phil, Jim, and the rest of the Camillus folks! And especially, thank all of you that have been waiting patiently for a Talon, or a Cetan!

See you at the Blade Show!

Just curious, will the mini tek-lok eventually be available? If so, any estimates as to when?

Would like to use the mini version of the tek-lok with the Talon and also with some other small knives with kydex sheaths. thanks . . .
