Here's a new framelock design I've been working on. I call it the Ventilator for obvious reasons..

Peter ,that is a very unique style you got happening.What might the specs. be on that airy piece. Also,how does the grip feel with the slots?

Blade: 3 1/4" S30v
OAL: 7 3/4
Frame: .100 titanium, beadblasted

The slots are rounded over carefully. They do not catch on anything and are very comfortable in the hand but at the same time provide a very positive grip. This one was a lot of fun to make and I'll probably do a few more variations.

Nice design Peter. I like the way the slots line up in the closed position. The added grip is a definate plus. Does it comb hair?

Thanks for the kind words. Getting those slots to line up was a pain in the butt! Worth it in the end though...

Coop, I doubt I'll be at the Stamford show but I probably will go to Marlboro, MA in August. Hopefully I can get a few more knives built by then!
