A friend of mine that happens to be a dealer had one (please note the past tense!) and I wanted to know if the price was within the parameters of the black book.

The price wasn't cheap, but I really wanted that knife so... I got it but I will take delivery by friday.

Is not the same warn and fuzzy feeling of buying a brand new CQC6 for $550!

Attention to detail is incredible in this knife...

It has satin finish, the old Viper logo, not the specwar or half moon, spine disc, hi gloss satin finish Ti bolsters and black micarta with micarta spacer. It has a temper/buff line all across the edge and a second allen screw on the right side of the pivot pin. (the left side has a flat screw) Also it sports a double ground blade.

It's the perfect size, (same as CQC6) super smooth opening and closing.
I'm impress with the tip of the blade. It looks so strong!

This one is a keeper! (my wife always tell me not to get emotionally attached to the knives!)

What I paid for the knife was a combination of cash amount ($1200) and a knife that I had. It was a Microtech Kestrel auto Brend polished blade (street value of $750, but the dealer, my friend, knew what I paid for it, due to my relation with Tony...

the moral of the story: life is too short to bargain and haggle about Emerson Customs!

what would i pay for it?
the same i would pay for any emerson custom.
any internal organ or body part that you need cut fresh off of the first person i can abduct in a shopping mall.
