I used Fix-it from Texas Knifemakers Supply for years on my handles. I loved the stuff, I just found out that they no longer carry it, so I contacted the company and they stopped making it, I ask if they are making something to replace it, they said nope. It was a non-firing clear ceramic type spray that was waterproof. Does anyone have any suggestions on something equivalent.

You might try MinWax sanding sealer. Brush it on, thick. Dry it with a hair dryer or heat gun, takes about a minute, then buff like you would Fix-It.
I have not tried this yet, but I plan to. Others that have used it in this manner, speak highly of it.

Maybe try Deft semi-gloss or gloss spray? White can with a little bit of blue trim I think. Spray, wait fifteen minutes, spray another coat, buff off.

I still have a couple of cans of it in the shop. I like Minwax wood hardener but stabilized is the way to go.
