thickness of kydex to use?

what thickness of kydex do i use if i were going to make a sheath for a rat rc6? and would it even mater? new to all this. any hellp would be nice, thanks.:)

Personally, I use .093 when I can and .08 for colors I can't get in .093. A lot of folks prefer .060 as well and find it easier to work with. It's really a matter of preference. .08 is a good place to start though, in my opinion.

I think .080" is great for a variety of applications. .093" works well in similar applications and is even better for larger, longer pieces or pieces that need extra strength when flexing such as belt clips.
Even .060" is very strong stuff but it is noticeable thinner and more flexible. For the RC-6 you could use any of the three but .080" or .093" would be the better choices.
