Well, I've been snowed in today and I decided to have some fun with the grinder. Taking it slow and keeping the blade cool, I thinned out the edge extensively and began to put a satin finish on the blade (it's about half done...so no pics at the moment
).
Sorry, I know it's not the best pic, but it was hard to pick up the edges well. The left is the new thinned out BR edge. The right is the stock CT edge.

The difference is more apparent in person. The CT does not have a thick edge, IMHO. The BR just has a very thin edge, with almost no edge bevel at all.
I can really feel the distance in chopping and cutting. This thing cuts like a laser. However, it is not near as durable as the CT edge.
