Ive been wanting to come up with some new designs here lately. I like the Camper and Roach Belly Ive drawn out recently but have been wanting to do two more designs. The first one is a little unconventional but its something I have wanted to do for awhile. When I grab a knife in the house it is usually one of my slipjoints because I carry one all the time. I would rather use a fixed blade so Im thinking something with a small blade and regular sized handle, maybe 2 3/4" blade and 4 1/2" handle. Something you can sit on the front porch and whittle with. The second one Im not sure about. What do you guys think about it? Also, what else would you like to see?

Full size Nessmuk?

Also something in the 5.5" blade range between the Kephart and the camp knife.

How about a nice thin paring knife?
The KFU Kitchen Cutter.
A paring knife is what I use the most in the kitchen.

Something along these lines. This knife has a 2 7/8" blade from tip of scales to tip of blade and a 3 3/4" handle from tip of scales. This knife is a bit too thick for me at about 7/32" and I would like to see it with FFG, wood handles and pouch sheath. I would send you a deposit today.

p.s. smoth spine, no funky detail

I figured I may as well put this in this thread. Seemed as good a place as any.

So I think whenever Chris gets back to taking orders, I'll have him make something thats a little bigger than his Wide EDC. A Wider EDC, if you will. Although I don't really get a chance to EDC a fixed blade, this design has been in my head for a while and I wanted to get it out there. Added 1/4" to the blade, 3/8" to the handle, and 1/8" to the width. Oh, the bottom knife is the wide EDC, by the way.

Looks good OL_SC! I think Im going to do a smaller roach belly edc since I have the width of stock on hand. We will see!

There are so many patterns out there its really hard to come up with something new,off the wall knives really dont get it with me,i like the classics but so many makers make them,i say keep it real brother you know i have patterns but also you know i just walk up and start grinding away steel, thats when you get your best knives

+1 Make what you feel, hell you are at point in your knife making that you know which style will work and which
style is just for show. Every style you've tried, you've nailed. You make knives for users, so pick a useful style you
like and let the sparks fly. JMO.
