I,m wondering if anyone throws kukri,s . I realise it may not be a classic thrower . Variety is the spice of life . I have one on order from Atlanta cutlery . The only issue I have is whether the handle will break off . I know these are rugged knives . I don,t think they are meant to be thrown .

I have an old kukuri that I've thrown. It has a horn handle, though and it cracked. Its been fixed up with super glue and electrical tape-- still works fine. Eventually I'll replace the handle. One of these days.

Anyway-- kukuris throw a little like a tomahawk, and chop into the target with the edge, as opposed to sticking the point.

Nixellpix , thanks , I kinda thought you would have to under-rotate so as the point started touching the weight would push it into the wood .I didn,t think of the edge cutting in . As for the handle cracking ? I guess its to be expected . I think I would wait until I aquired a kukri with a damaged handle and make a new one out of rawhide . Thanks for posting .
