Thumb stud problem

I've got a mark I, that became rusted in the thumb stud. I've removed it with two pliers! I tought that it was a srew type, but they are probably heat pressed to each other, and had to remove them with some strengh involved.

the fact is, after I removed them(and after I've properly cleaned them), they don't attach anymore to each other, they are loose, so I figured out that glueing them was probably the easiest way, but if anybody have any better idea or know how to do this let me know...

You can probably epoxy the stud back in place, or order a screw-together stud from someplace like KnifeKits.com, on their specialty parts page.
