Hey folks,

I liked the picture of Tim's knife so much I turned it into a "Desktop Picture" (or Wallpaper file). It's available in 1152x870, 1024x768 and 832x624 resolution. I have smoothed some parts, sharpened others, and despekled others. I also removed the text at the top. Below are links to the pictures, rather than slow the board down displaying the pictures everytime.

After you click the link and the full size picture loads, you can use your browser's "Save" command to save it on your hard disk. Here are the links:

Enjoy!

C4,

They are working for me, what problem, or error message are you getting?

Everyone,

Tim sent me a higher resolution picture, that I have used to make better Desktop Pictures (Wallpaper). I have uploaded the improved images this morning (Wednesday 28March). However the Apple server I ma using to hold the images has a "pseudo-sever" that is holding the old images like a cache, so you may have to use a "Reload" command after the picture loads, to get the new ones.

The byte sizes of the images are as follows, if you see your browser is downloading a smaller image, it is downloading the old one, and you should "Reload" after the old smaller image is done. (Or you can "cancel" the download and "Reload", if your browser and OS allow that. On my Mac, when I see "Downloading: 2300 bytes of 277K" I can hit "Cmd-period", and then issue the Reload command to get the new image... (Another way to tell which image you have is to look at the upper left corner, if it dark "just like" the lower right corner, you have an old image.)

The 1152x870 image is approximately 464 K.
The 1024x768 image is approximately 384 K.
The 832x624 image is approximately 292 K.

Enjoy! Let me know if you are having any problems!

Thomas,

Seems like it was a "last night' thing. I went to my own mac.com album after I posted and found it wasn't working either.

Great job on the "wallpaper"!!!

Thanks,

Michael
