Does anyone have one of these knives? I'm thinking about getting one and was wondering if anyone can give me a review of it. Here is a link to what this knife looks like, from knifecenter: Special Service Knife

Thank you.

If you like lots of geometric angles, you'll like it, but I can think of a lot of better knives to do work with. The handle wasn't very comfortable for me.

Hi Antonella,

The only thing I don't like about the Timberline SS is that diamond shaped blade hole. When the blade rotates out of the handle, the diamond shaped hole's corners felt a bit too harsh on the flesh of my thumb. I don't really see why they just didn't use the round Spyderco hole, as the knife was designed by Mr. Spyderco himself, Sal Glesser. Other than that, I like the heft of the knife and the smooth action. Reminds me a lot of the steel Police model in those regards.
