Time for a Inventory Update!!!

There is a lot of steel floating around the shop lately....I got some pics!!


Some of these are orders...most are not!



A good bunch of these are going to be "saved" for the Blade show.

A small batch of nessmuks in 3V

Monster Nessie in 3V

Three Santokus, 2 Maters and a Nessmuk in S30V

K-TUSK variety in S30V (the ones on the end are 4" blades)

New Knife!! Pikal Paring knife...S30V....0.100" thick

Three K5 Kardas in 3V, one K5 in D2, one K6 and K4 in S30V

Gyuto Kitchen Knives in 1095

"Tactical" Santokus - 1/4" thick W2 - will get a full-flat grind and G10 handles...should be able to chop 2x4s and carrot with the same knife!

K-BOARs in 5160 - including one in O1/L6 Damascus (top) and a half-tang (2nd one - handle TBD).

2 more Gyuto and 2 "Plain Jane" WSKs

WSKs (top one is O1/L6 damacus)

The bottom two are 3V - the rest are 5160

Scandi-ground Nessmuks in 1/8" 1095

First four are also scandi-ground 1/8" 1095....the next 5 are 3/32" 1095....should be great slicers!!

These Nessmuks are 3/16" O1 and will be full-flat grind.

These Bushcraft are S30V

These K5 Kardas are 1/8" thick CPM154.

Last but not least...K-TUSK variants and a rare cable damascus piece - amazing pattern! (I forged this a few years back...finally got around to making something from it)

...And I have several more bars of steel to go through!!!

Ya I think I saw my 3V nessmuk in there somewhere. It's hard to spot him when he's standing next to his brothers

Very impressive, really enjoy the shots of work-in-progress. There is some variety in the drill patterns on the tang of a given model, how do you decde how to drill a given handle? Does it depend on the weight of the slabs?
