Hello gentlemen!

Peanut might be a small stature for a knife but it awesome pattern. So show us your peanuts and comparable knives like tiny trappers!

Here's my very first Case ever: Peanut Amber Bone Stainless Steel:

Seriously tho I don't own many peanuts...I think the Case in CV and yellow is so classic it is hard to upstage. Here's mine with a yellow Fighting rooster of the same size.

and here is a little Uncle Henry along with a tiny Opinel and a tiny jack knife of unknown origins...

I LOVE that shackled, one blade Peanut mhawg!! A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
John Keats wrote that.
I think he was referring to that Peanut.

Ahhhh peanut,
How do I love thee,
Let me count the ways,
Red bone, Chestnut bone, stag,
Yellow...

Hi,

Did someone say Peanuts?:D

My Camillus Collection: Top is a PRC Camco Workhorse. A surprisingly well made but chunky little knife. Reminds me of a Rough Rider.

Then there are two brass framed Peanuts I got this summer. What makes them interesting to me is that one is tang stamped as Camillus with a #710 on the reverse side. And the other, while identical is merely etched Camillus on the blade. And the tangs are blank.

Next are two #21's. The brown jigged one was my Grandfather's. He used it up. Isn't much left of the blades anymore. The other one, with black plastic scales, I got to substitute carry. Notice the difference in the shape of the pivot bolsters.

And last is my Grandfathers Slim Senator. A single Pen with scissors. A Gentleman's Sunday knife.

Then I have my Colonial Small Jack that I rescaled in Whitetail antler. The carbon steel blades sharpen nicely.

And my favorite small slippie, a Schrade 108OT. That knife can out Peanut, a Peanut. Three razor sharp carbon steel blades. All in a package no bigger than my Peanuts. And more robust to boot.

The bottom one is a Bear MGC liner lock small Jack. I would maybe like it better but the liner lock is really hard for me to operate. But I do carry it occasionally.

Here's my only peanut. One like dalee100's. Dalee, how are the springs on yours? Mine are a bit easy compared to the Cases I have handled.

Mhawk, love that one with the bail:thumbup:

You should be ashamed of yourself! Living on your nightstand, forgotten. Put that little knife in your pocket and take it out for a day now and then.

It'll love you for it!:D

Trust me it gets used...lol...just forgot to include it in the original pics. It is my cut up a snack in bed knife, my loose thread cutter, tag remover,...it probably gets used more than the knife in my pocket does. That little peanut came packaged with 8 boxes of 22 shells in a gift set many years ago. The 22s are long gone but the knife sees daily action.

I'm going to have to upgrade my status one of these days. Such beautiful little knives. I need to go now and get a paper towel and wipe the drool off my chin. I have a few beautiful little peanuts, that I will go and get and clean and re-oil. The peanut pattern is what got me to collecting a few years back.
