Anybody got one that is is will to do a report on it? Maybe at least some info like the width of the blade? Anything??? :D Thanks everyone.

Mark,

I'm supposed to be getting one in the mail from the daily specials a couple of days ago. Will post comparison pics. Might or might not use depending on how nice it looks.

Thanks. I wanted the one you got badly. You have to use it! Look at that blade. It wants to chop...but those fullers sure look nice don't they? I did a search and looked at the ones offered in the past. I would go crazy for a 21"-22" version. Maybe I should drop H.I. a email. Anyway sorry to ramble, look forward to seeing yours when you get it. Thanks again.

Me too.

As for the 15" bgr's: naw. The little blade that could, huh? I suppose it would be interesting to see how much weight added to a shortie can help. I happen to think below 16", not that much.

You are probably right. A pen knife is a pound. The weight I remember on the little ganga was 15'oz so it's probably not as front heavy as one of those.

We have 15" blades that weigh 24 oz- your old BAS is one. That is just the beginning of chopping. But a question is; would a 15" BGR which weighed the same chop better? Don't know.

For mechanical physical math I don't know and can't explain, a 16.5" Chiruwa AK chops fine. I think below that length you lose too much leverage, and weight will not help you out completely.

Weight---------------------- 30 oz.

Thanks for the info. It is as I had hoped (said while I twirl my imaginary mustache) it would be. I will have to pick one up when I can. I have wanted a 18"ish chopper, besides my 18" AK. I would still like a bigger one mind you, I think the fullers look great on the big Khuks but I can justify buying one if it fill a purpose other then just looking great. I mean a person would have to buy them all if "it looked nice" was the only reason for buying one and that would be HIKV of which I am cured... :D

Did you read my post or not clearblue? Didn't I say I was cured? That I broke the cycle that is HIKV? And by cured I really mean to say that I will send you a email in a bit... :D ;)
