I just ordered "The Ultimate Pen Knife" from A.G. Russell. Ti and VG-10, 2" closed with a 1.5" blade. The closest thing (that I know of) to this was the Buck 565 Tiny Titanium which has been discontinued for some time now. Other than the Victorinox Classic and the Al Mar Osprey, are there any more tiny knives being produced?
A.G.'s design seems to fall right in with what I look for in a knife's design....straight.

Here are my favorite tiny knives:

chive_tn.jpg

Kershaw Chive
Closed Length: 2.9"
Blade Length: 1.9"
Thickness (grip/at clip): 0.30" / 0.42"
Weight: 1.9 oz

jester_tn.jpg

Spyderco Jester
Closed Length: 2.5"
Blade Length: 1.9"
Thickness: 0.32"
Weight: 0.6 oz

bitteroot_tn.jpg

Rob Simonich Mid-Tech Bitteroot
Overall Length: 4.0"
Blade Length: 1.6"
Thickness: 0.125"
Weight: 0.7 oz

These are all less traditional, but they are small, light, and very effective.

Spyderco Ladybug & the little Police model on a necklace are pretty small. I think I'm going to order one of those AG Russell pen knives. The price seems pretty reasonable.

The Simonich Bitteroot is the neck knife I've been hoping for. It's an awesome little package.

I too recently ordered this small knife from AG Russell. I'm thinking of carrying it in my wallet; I underdtand it's very slim.

For full-sized tiny knives, the Spyderco Kiwi, Mouse, and Toad are all fairly small, as is the Cricket and MeerKat.

It is indeed! :) Razor sharp and keeps cutting forever.

I just picked up a little Kershaw LKF folder which is tiny and sharp as a scalpel. It has about an inch and a half blade in what I would call a modified warncliffe style. The handle is black coated aluminum. It also has a tiny thumb stud with is ambidextrous.

I've got a Schrade LB-1, it's 2 1/4" closed, with a 1 9/16" blade, brass frame and bolsters and wood scales. They don't make it anymore, but their subsidary in Ireland makes an FRN handled version of it called the AP1, which they market here. Nice little lockback keyring knife.

Be forewarned that the AG Russell pen knife is VERY VERY VERY small!! Even more than I would have expected to be honest.

For some really classy small knives check out the William Henry Executive. 1.9" wharncliffe blade and 4.65" overall.

OK, let's keep it at a sub 2" blade length.

You can't much smaller than the Spyderco mini Police necklace or tie clip model. Very cool LITTLE knives....

Take it easy,

SOG have at least three knives with 2" blades. One is the Microdot (4.5" overall) others are the Sculptura (5" overall) and the Mini Gentleman (4.6" overall). They also have the Twitch 1 which has a 1.9" blade (4.75" overall).

Edited to add:

Camillus have the Two Bladed Pen. One Blade is 1.75" and the other is 1.25". This knife is 2.75" closed. They also have quite a few others with blades 2" in length.
