Hello all,

I've been a long time fan of the HI Kukris. Sadly, my knife/"Large piece of steel" funds have been minimal. I do not yet own a HI kurki. I am saving up though. Plan an buying a HI Kukri really soon. My roommate recently bought himself a nice Chiruwa Ang Khola. Very Very beautiful blade. I've decided that I definatly want to get one of those. I've also looked at the TarWars. They also seem very very nice. And I really want one.
I was wondering if anyone owns one of these tarwars, and could tell me if they are as capable and versatile as the Kukris ? I have no doubt that the tarwars meets the very high standards of HI, just wondering if they are as completly indestructable as a Chiruwa AK ?
Also, could you cut down trees and destroy old pickup trucks with a tarwar as you could with an AK ? Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated :p

By the way, I am not worried about the shear size of the Tarwar, as I am a fairly large person.

One more thing, If can please include a few pics of a tarwar, it would be greatly appreciated.

You'll get the pics faster if you do a Search for "Tarwar".

In lieu of a knowledgable person answering your questions, I will make this observation. The Tarwar in the last link was 29" long and weighed 35 oz. There are Khukuri's weighing the same that are 30% less long.

Thanks all for help. More posts to keep up with than I'd realized.
