If anything we're all a bit weirder, but we are still here. Still the same Stage Stop and Cantina inspired by the first "Star Wars" bar scene and Spider Robinson's Callahan's Crosstime Saloon, with Uncle holding down as much as he can handle. From the smell round here it's bout time for another sheep dip pretty soon. Otherwise still the same old stuff day in and day out.

That's what it is alright, stage stop and cantina.

Ever visit Wildrose Station, Rusty, the old stagestop between Ballarat and Skidoo? Great place. Park Service tore it down maybe 30 years ago and for what reason I couldn't figure. Although a lot smaller it was just as historical as Bodie.

One of Skidoo's claims to fame was it was the town where a guy got hanged twice -- once for the crime and then a day later for big city reporters who came in to cover the story too late.
