I think it might be. I just opened up my first tomahawk that came today in the mail. It's a cold steel trail hawk. I really like the feel of this one. The bevels on it aren't perfect but it's what I would expect for a tool at this price. The wood appears to be unfinished, is that normal? Now to modding it.:D

Edited to add that I'm shocked at how small the head is. Not in a bad way, I just thought it would be bigger. You really can't tell from internet pics how big things are.

Okay, I can't get the head of the hawk off. It's on there pretty tight, any tips?
