I like duplicates, as you can see. :)

Interesting...I always pictured the hest to be a bigger knife. From the pic it looks no bigger than the Izulas.

I do like how you have doubles of most knives. One for work and one for collecting! cool

Thanks! The hest is closer in size to the 4 than the izula.

Nice collection. I have an Izula on the way (my first ESEE). Do you have a preference on your Izulas between the scales and paracord? I'll probably start out by wrapping mine.

I like the scales much more. When they get dirty I just wash them, instead of rewrapping.

Nice! Did you buy duplicates for collection or just to have two? I just bought an ESEE 4, and I can't wait till it arrives in the mail.

Nice little family. I am digging the banged on 5. The 3 is a great knife. However if I was approaching your collection in the idea of needs you really don't need the 3 except for a collection piece. You have the Hest, 4, and Izula so really you have every knife around the 3 those voiding the need for one. Yet if you are like me, I buy things sometimes just because I like them and want one. :)

Well, I've found that when I have 2 of each I really don't mind beating the crap out of the first one. Even though esee has the best warranty around, I still like to know I have a backup to each of my favorite knives.
