We have been in Connecticut since Tue. night and have had very little time to get outside. When we did we were rewarded with a down pouring of rain. I did manage to snap a few shots before the rain fell though.

As you can see in the last pic the rain was just about to come down. We ended up having to make a mad dash back to the car in the rain.:grumpy:
While it may not be the type of beach were you can run around barefoot it will work for those of us that are land locked 99% of the time.

I love the ocean. I like the spot you put the knife, almost like a Where's Waldo pic. Thanks for sharing.

I`d take rain by the ocean over the heat we are having here anytime! Nice photos, looks like you son is having a good time.

You and me both while it rained 2 out of the three days there the temp was anywhere from about 50 to 75 degrees.
I survived today which was spent in Strasburg, PA at around 85. It would not have been so bad but we were stuck standing in line a good portion of the day. We took my son to "A Day with Thomas the Train". While he enjoyed it mom and I were sweating our butts off most of the time. Ah well they are only young once right. It was pretty cool to see a real life Thomas the train, plus we got to ride on it.

Hi Matt -

Cute pictures!

Enjoy your vacation and take it easy returning home safely.

Then you get a nice little package of Kitchen knives in the mail!

best regards -

I am looking forward to checking out those kitchen knives, one of the pluses of getting back home.:D

What beach is that? I live in CT and the only decent beach around me is Hammonasset beach, but i am also not thrilled being stuck on the shoreline lol. Whatcha down this way for?

Those were taken at Lighthouse point park just outside New Haven. We were out there because my son participated in a research project at Yale. We were there from Tue. till Sat. morning. It was a good time but I am glad to be back home. The research project was focused on eye gazing in kids that are on the spectrum. It was really cool to see done. All he had to do was watch a movie and several different cameras would capture where he was looking and display it on several different computer monitors.
