Tops A.l.r.t.?

Howdy all! I didn't know if this exactly went into reviews or not, so I put this in the general section. I was cruising through some older links in my favorites box last night when I came across the www.S4supply.com website. I saw on the TOPS page that there were some new small fixed blades under the heading of A.L.R.T. knives (aka Anywhere Last Resort Tool), and wondered if anyone has one of these? I was just wondering if y'all thought this might be a good discreet carry for EDC? At $35 it doesn't seem like I could loose on the deal, but I thought I'd ask. The main reason for this is that these knives AREN'T on the TOPS webpage. Could the webpage just need updating? I'd really like some more information on these blades!

They are on the TOPS shop site. Looks like they'd be handy little SD knives, similar to the OSS thumb dagger. They also come with a LED.
 
Saw a couple for the first time yesterday.

TOPS is a really cool company and all, but I think those things look about useless as tits on a warthog. I think $35 could easily be spent on a MUCH better little knife with a handle, even if it's not composed of TOPS' famous "surgical steel" that they tend to use on these kinda cheaper knives.

Once again, no real slam on the company. When you make and design as many knives as they do, aint all of 'em gonna please everybody.

I REALLY miss my Pasayten.
