Aloha ALL,

Just curious, who owns which TOPS Knife, or has had any experience with these knives?

Your thoughts?

TIA and God bless!

Yo BMX BRO, I have the TOPS Shadow Tracker. It has the 154CM blade steel, the Simonich Pattern Handles, Leather Sheath ...Super Stout . Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

God Bless and 3/N/P:)

As the Beast was fond of saying when he was with the Avengers:

"Oh my stars and garters..."

Wassup with the name bro?

So the TOPS Knife ya got...cut anything with it yet? What steel is it?

God bless and 3/N/P always bro...;)

Hey Bro, The blade steel is 154CM. Slices nice, but made more for SD. Super in the hand and has excellent balance ...easy to manipulate the different grips fast.

User Name ...someone here already has the "RAVEN" username claimed :(.

God Bless and 3/N/P :)

I have a Pasayten, Urban Defender, Whisper, Wolf pup, Badger attack, Mission team 21, and street scalpel. They are well made, tough as nails, and have served me well in the field. Their 154cm is excellent and their 1095 is excellent as well. I highly recommend them...Jim

The smaller knives like the wolfpup, street scalpel and feret are great knives and the ones I like the most.
I had a few of the bigger knives but moved them on to new homes as they just didnt see much use.

The folders are worth a look as well, Iv been real happy with the two I have

I had the TOPS "Max The Mini Axe" for a couple months. Beautifully made little tank of a knife/axe. But, it had the most uncomfortable handle. The way the handle was shaped bunched my fingers together on the inside of the curve.
That said, I'm looking at the big Steel Eagle with the hunter point. First I need to see how I like the Kabar/Becker BK9 coming in this week.

Why do I get the feeling there's a CLB / TOPS collaboration coming? :foot::D

i was looking at the urban defender. i hear its pretty nice.
Rook: where in colorado are u? im currently in greeley but i grew up in the springs

I have a TOPS CQT303. Nicely made knife, but its still in the box, I find I just keep the Spyderco for everyday use and haven't carried/used the TOPS yet.

Yeah, don't keep us in the dark. Ha Ha!

Sorry, don't own any TOPS yet but I've been looking at their kneckers. Some are kinda close to an idea I have.

Anyways, Just wanted to say "HI". Maybe I'll get around to an e-mail soon.

Take care,
Gibby

I alternate between a Pasayten and Mohawk hunter in the field< they pretty much retired my other brands

Hey Chad,

I own a Wolf Pup from TOPS that my brother in law and sister gave me. It's a nice little knife but the blade is so thick that it's almost too thick for such a little knife. I personally think TOPS knives are a bit RAMBO'ish and like the more conservative look of stuff from RAT Cutlery and Fallkniven.

:)

+1
I've a Shadow Hunter, Border Crossing and Scalpel. The Border Crossing is a thick blade that works fine for chopping or in those cases where you'd want a sharp prybar. The other two are great, thinnner blades, comfortable carry and sharpen well. The Scalple is great for EDC for a small fixed blade knife. Hope this helps.

I have both a bush ranger and a skinat. Both are well made, and do their job efficiently. Fit and finish are very good to excellent. Only complaint is the thickness of the skinat and it's grind(sound like big complaints, but not really.... they work but could be better). It would be a perfect knife if it were about half as thick. The bush ranger is the cat's meow.
