It just occured to me that if one were to take an oxy/acetylene setup and hook up the oxygen line to some kind of air line, and the other to propane, one could get alot more heat than propane alone and it would be a whole lot cheaper than oxy/acetylene or even oxy/propane- has anyone tried this and how much heat can one get from it? Any good suggestions for air supply
(besides dive tank)? I've got a little 30 PSI compressor that I got for airbrushing. I wouldn't expect to be able to cut steel, but it might heat steel to non magnetic, which would be very useful and affordable. my propane alone can't do that. Think it would work?
