I have had a 19' Wetterling large hunter for about 7 months and have had some great fun with her. Here are some pics of the use.

I reground the top edge of the bit to smooth it out, and got most of the scale off. Way more than on the little Husqie. I convexed the edge up to 1000 grit on the grinder, then went to the strop for a razor. She came out pretty nice. Since I did not take the handle off, I used my dremel for most of the work. Took me about an hour 20 minutes to do it. Thanks for lookin. :D
 
Shinny is nice, but I will keep the "road kill" look on my Small Hunting Axe when I get it.
 
Nice makeover on the axe. Looks like you could get a few dozen knife handles out of that antler.
