Howdy all,
I will be going to Boston and NYC this xmas and want to take my 4oz OC and a small folder. I cannot use the search feature here so I apologise if this has been asked. What should I limit my blade length too and any problems with the small pepper spray in either city? Does OC work on rats? just kidding.
As we will be walking around doing various touristy things and unable to stash a knife in the car a friend of mine had a suggestion. With the hightend security we now face it is tough to predict what one can take where. My friend suggested taking a padded, self-addressed stamped envelope along with postage enough for any items that one does not want the would be confiscators to have. If a guard decides your knife is better than his all you have to do is seal the knife in the envelope and drop it in a mail box. Your knife will be waiting for you when you get home and it has the extra added bonus that when you seal it up, anyone wanting to steal the contents of the envelope would be in violation of postal regs. Anyone try this?
Thanks in advance,
JB
