Months ago I have posted a drawing of this knife on the forums and general comments about its project and now I am about to finish the first three of them and am very satisfied with the result, since it is everything I have expected it to be – effective, ligh and quick. If you find the old thread or take a look at teh drawuing in my site, you will see it is a bit different from it, since I introduced some improvements while making it, like the new tip style and a few other changes that made the blade slighly wider and less recurve.
I have also used a new (to me) material for this piece called Sverker 3, made by Uddeholm, and the first impressions show it to be very tough, even more so than K-100.
This scan was taken from an unhardened, semi-finished piece (hard to see in the scan but the blade is still very rough) but I was too excited to share it with you to wait until it comes back from ht...
Overall lenght is 9 ¾”, with a 5 7/8” long blade.
Let me know what you think.

That't a really unique design. Looks like in the right hands, it would be an awesome defensive weapon. You should really post a link in the Tactics & Training section too.

Thanks for your comments, gentlemen.
Right now I am working on a few more details to tune up this project and it is becoming even more promising.
One of the changes scheduled for later pieces is a increase of 1/2" to 3/4" on the handle lenght to allow the skull crusher to protrude more from the hand.
I am even thinking about making a double harness for a pair of these beasts - I really don't know how practical it would be but, regardless, it surely would be a fantastic conceptual harness!
