I was waving my CS medium "ada" and I tried to close it by thumbing for a liner to push aside :p Too much muscle memory from my Emerson.

Anybody else catch themselves trying to close a knife the wrong (locking) way?

Of course :p:p, my favorite lock is the frame lock, carried an axis lock for awhile and always stuck my thumb underneath it looking for the lock release.
:grumpy:
Hard to teach an old dog new tricks, now have all frame locks.

Nope....never.

Damn Aussies. Liars! All of 'em.:p

CM, I see the "...ada" name has really stuck. Ha Ha.

Yeah I make that mistake sometimes. Sometimes I'll confuse tip up/down also. I think it's only a serious prob if ya have trouble with fixed blades.:D

Been there. Done that.

Closing for me isn't to much of a problem, but I sometimes find myself feeling for a flipper when I go to open my spyderco para. I have never searched for a thumb hole on a kershaw though.
