Trizact belts...Good for sharpening?

Yes, The fine ones will put a new wire edge on the blade that can be buffed off with a sewn buffer w/rouge. Leaves a shaving sharp edge every time. Worn out trizacts can over-heat the blade instead of remove metal.
 
i use the norton norax x100 for a edge with teeth in in then polish the very edge with a fine ceramic rod. work great for culinary and hunters.
