OK I have been looking at several Tru-Bal throwers lately, does the # of stars on the blade have anything to do with the age of the knife?
If not who do you tell the age of it? I know that the older ones have the light colored sheath.
thanks

If it has a lot of stars on it it was most likely made by harry. The knives being made today have light color sheaths also. It varied depending on the supplier. The year does not really matter. All you need to know is whether or not it was made by Harry or his son unless it is a one of a kind piece. The viet nam bowie axe made during the late sixties and early seventies are the only ones besides the one of's that bring the most money.

Ok I have a Bowie Axe with one star on each side and 3 on the sheath.
It was supposed to made by Harry?

both Star is under the Bowie Axe logo then on other side is
TRU-BAL with arrow head below, then thier is anthoer arrow near handle on both sides.
thanks

I spoke with Stephen last week. He said that it was made by him. He still uses the star and arrowhead on the Bowie Axe. Hope this helps.
