Tuatahi Throwing Axes...

Since there isn't much talk about axe throwing, let's see if we can't start something up...I just received my Tuatahi Competition throwing axe today and I couldn't be happier. If anyone else does any axe throwing, it would be great to hear something about it.

I know that Tuatahi makes some throwers, but I'm more familiar with their competition choppers. Nice stuff! I also lust after the five foot saw they sell through Bailey's.

Let us know how she flies.

I've handled one but was not able to try it. It was pretty impressive. I liked the steel pin that went through the head and shaft. Apparently that is required for competition. I'm told that they will custom grind it according to the type of wood on which you will be competing. Bailey's shows a working model in addition to a couple versions of the competition chopper.
 
Yes, I would be very interested to see the various grinds for different types of wood.
