Maybe its just me, but does anybody know WHO "Two Finger Knife" is? The WEBSITE doesn't offer much info.

I had a customer ask about their damascus, but without knowing who these folk(s) are, I couldn't offer much info.

Thanks,

Robert (Many-Fingers-Cut)

It is a guy named Norm from Idaho falls Idaho. I personally would not do business with him ever AGAIN. If you are looking for blade blanks there is another guy in IF that goes by shadow vally forge he is good people and has a good product.

I second Bill on this. If you want damascus, then go with Guy Isom of Shadowmountain Forge. He lives just down the road from Norm. They used to be in business together, but they had some disagreements and parted company. In fact, there are several people in the knifemaking community that have done business with Norm and left with a bad taste in their mouth.

Mr. Isom produces the best damascus in the area and is very pleasant to deal with.

Thank you very much gentlemen. I will pass this information on to my customer

Thanks again,

Robert

I have personally done business with Two Finger Knife for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience. I have done business with Grand and this Isom guy and got taken to the cleaners! They are a bunch of crooked old men that don't have a clue how to do business! Two Finger makes the best quality blades for the price I have ever used! Norm is a great person to deal with. He can be a little blunt at times, but he is more than honest and willing to help on any project. If you were comparing eBay stores and online listings than just look who sells more blades and has more of a reputation. Good luck!

Let's see . . . should we trust Bill Burke, ABS Mastersmith, or remington33 with his 1 post (probably some guy named Norm from Idaho!)?

Check the dates of the posts, Norm, you're a little late!!

Subtlety would have made a better cover.

Thanks for the info, where can blade blanks from Shadow Mountain Forge be purchased? I've googled the name but no good results.

You guys made me nervous. I recently ordered a custom sized piece from two finger knife, and I received a piece that was thinner than I expected, I assumed it was probably a mix up in shipping because it was a little longer too. after seeing this page I was worried, but a quick email to two finger and they confirmed there was a mix up and will have the correct size shipped by early next week. They let me keep the mistake and are quickly making it right, after this experience I figured I should let anyone else considering using this company not to worry, the quality and price are there, they have been helpful and have been very quick with emails. Remember if you pay with pay pal and you have a problem, talk to the seller first and if there's still problems PayPal will help. Thankfully it didn't need to get to that. I personally will be doing business with two finger knife again. Don't let a couple people's issues scare you off
