The scan (of course) doesn't do them justice. The top is a Loveless-style hunter, with incredibly thin-ground polished D2, stabilized California Buckeye scales, red spacers, tapered tang, nickel-silver guard and mosaic pins. The bottom is the Small Game, fileworked D2, stabilized red/black ashe burl, & tapered tang.
I've had these beauties for a while now, but I'm re-learning how to post pics!

Paul,

Thanks for posting your Blackwoods. There doesn't seem to be too many people out there with the Small Game and it is good to see another picture. I've always been back and forth as to whether or not I like their design, but now it is decided. I like them.

For anyone who is looking at the Small Hunter and considering one for themselves, act pretty quickly. Neil said that he was going to be removing them from his website next so time is running out for that model.

Yeah I do like that Samll Game.., and haven't actually seen many.., a very useful looking size and profile...

LOL, I have to admit I was kind of disappointed that no one had noticed!
A knife of this caliber needs only one more thing: a Kenny Rowe sheath.
Soon.

Keith,

The Loveless style hunter was made back when I had time to play around in the shop......Back when making a knife and selling it to someone just seemed like an interresting concept!

Do you know that for quite a while, I had that up on my website but it recieved little or no interrest?? That's when I came up with my Medium Hunter model go along with the Small Hunter. My thinking at the time was that if the Small Hunter was popular the Medium would be too ;) It's funny how things evolve!!!

You scared me to death. The small hunter is one of my favorites. Neil said he is keeping the small hunter in the lie up but discontinuing the small game. Thank God. Seems like many of my favorite knives are being discontinued these days.
