Two sheaths from Sugar Creek

There were earlier threads on both knives, but since they are newly dressed by Russ, I thought I would include them together with sheaths here. While Russ was fabricating the sheath for the Andrews-Hanson collaboration bowie, I was fortunate enough to acquire Russ' newly designed available hunter from his website. A belt-loop sheath was decided on and the results are below. Russ provided the pictures.

The sheaths look to be very high quality. Both the sheaths that Russ made for my knives are excellent.

I've been saying it for at least 10 years, and I'll say it again now. Few makers approach Russ's level of craftsmanship. Those knives and sheaths are about as good as it gets, IMHO. :thumbup:

There's alot more emphasis than there used to be, on quality sheaths.
I'm trying to get a little better at it.
They both have Ostrich inserts. The bowie sheath also has a damascus
frog button for a sorta-match with Don's guard & ferrule.
