Ugliest and best looking Spydercos of all time?

Talking about regular models not customs or limited runs with special materials. What is the best looking and worst looking Spyderco you hav ever seen. This is only based on looks so if you like an ugly model, don't be afraid to vote for it. Pure cosmetics here, doesn't mean they are any better or worse.

My vote for ugly is the Spyker. I know I am going to get some flak for this but I owned one and I could stand to look at it. It actually put me in a bad mood a little bit when I saw. I'm sure it was a heck of a knife because it was really well made but I couldn't take it!

Best looking could go to the C46 Bob Lum Tanto. It is just a good looking knife. I would never own one because I don't like tantos and I prefer flat ground blades but it sure is pretty!

The Micarta Calypso in large and regular are very good looking as well. Such grace and ease of lines. Very well done and understated.
 
The ugliest is very easily the Dodo. The best looking is easily the Persian(that is a sexy knife)

Funny, I carry both daily.;)
 
well most are ugly as hell IMO though the nasty pointy recurved defence thing may be the worse offender.
The UKPK and similar shaped ones don't look bad but I don't but aren't great looking (like girls in clubs, the ones that don't look the best get the job done very well though)

the fly has a certain grace about it but I'm in the UK
 
The ugliest is the original sprint run of the waved Endura.

I can't choose a best looking one. The nice full flat ground G-10 models look the best to me.
 
Dodo, Spot, Swick, in that order, followed closely by the Jot Singh Khalsa, Bram Frank Gunting, and the Shabaria. They all have their uses though, I guess.

I have ugly taste, because those are all knives I like;)
 
Ugliest one is pretty easy: special edition 93mm plain edge rescue. I love it (carried it almost every day since I got it), but damn... I always hated the look of the gen 1 and 2 enduras and all of the delicas, but they aren't the worst offenders. The Massad Ayoob is also pretty ugly but not like the rescue.

Best looking isn't as easy. I really like the bone inlay kiwi. The koppa is great. The calypso and calypso jr are great, too. The Szabo fly also deserves mention. Spyderco's are generally very well designed.

It is funny I agree with a lot of the choices. Though I think the dodo is cute.
another REALLY ugly one is the spydie karambit.

Good looking: Delica.

Yojimbo is really cool looking especially with the blue G10.

Hands down the green salsa is the best looking
 
Ugliest is easy. Gunting, Shabaria, Civilian/Matriarch.

Purtiest...not so easy. Maybe the Ronin.

Prettiest? Lum Chinese! Maybe Blue Almite Walker
 
I think a lot of spydercos are ugly but the ugliest is the dodo and the spyker. Lum chinese the nicest looking. I do have a Lum tanto folder,a Lum chinese, an R2 and a calypso jr ZDP.

The ugliest Spyderco IMHO is the Spyder card, man that is one ugly knife! It reminds of a nasty looking shoe...

The best IMHO would be the Lum Chinese, mesmerizing!
 
Prettiest - the CF Police (the closest thing to sexy in knives :o )

Ugliest - there are just too many fugly (but functional!!!) models to choose from :confused:
 
The Dodo never gets any love. :( It's a good thing I was able to save 2 from the harsh streets of this Dodo-hating world. I only wish I could do more.... There are still so many of those hideous blades out there that need a nice caring home. ;) :D
 
ugliest by far for me is the Yojimbo. It's one of the few Spydercos that I've handled that actually didn't feel right in my hand. I know a lot of people like its ergonomics, but it felt wrong to me.

Best looking... I've always loved the Native. When I was first taking an interest in Spyderco, the Native was one of the few models that actually looked like a knife. I also really like the Centofante models, the Calypso (big and jr.) and the Persian. The Manix isn't too bad lookin' either.
