I like recurve blades but for a Camp Knife, This is a more practical design.
I would say you have made an awesome Camp Knife!!

Daym BA, that is one good looking knife. Is it on the market or did you make it for an order? What type of sheath? If not for someone, how much is the price going to be?
Liners really set the grain off in the handles, just enough contrast. Now all we can hope is River Warrior doesn't bring his big knife over at your place . . . . . the surrounding trees in Scioto County wouldn't stand a chance . . . . :D :D
Great job buddy, excellent looking blade.
Be safe.

Damn. As a matter of fact, double damn. That looks freakin' killer. Love it.

Beautiful blade,BA!

Like the liners; sets it off.

(Beautiful crotch,too.)

Oh my goodness.............:eek::eek: That is pure Heavy Metal:thumbup::thumbup:

I can't even begin to describe how kick ass the convex edge is on this knife. I know most of you own or have seen the beautiful pieces of art that Bill creates, but this particular knife has a complete different edge. It's one wicked convex that can take a ton of abuse and still hold a criminally sharp edge. This same edge is on the Survival Kephart that Bill recently made for me, so I can honestly say who ever ends up owning this big Camper blade will have an equally big smile when they see how it performs.

By the way Bill, this blade looks tough enough to handle those Ohio "Squatches" in your woods....:D

Well Hot Damn...I don't know which one I'd rather have, this one or the Backwoods Kephart.
Nice job Bill.

You will not be disappointed with either one because Bill's convex is mind blowing. For the past few days, I've repeatedly put my "Backwoods Kephart" through the trenches and the edge has been flawless in performance and continues to take the abuse. Even after all I've put it through it will slice clean through thin magazine paper without having to touch up the edge.

What a beauty! What do you use to force your finish or is that classified?

That's really nice. I love the meaty handle! Those of us with bear claw hands appreciate that.
