Okay, hopefully somebody else didn't try this....I posted recently that I tested the retention of the sheath by hanging on the handle with the sheath strapped to a floor joist....well, the sheath has loosened up and it doesn't work anymore! The knife still stays in the sheath better than any other dive/river knives I have tried, the toggle still works, but I can't hang on it anymore. So much for my plan to use it for aid climbing.
Sharpening....through some rigorous testing (I got to cut a kayak in half last night - none of the knives would do it, but a folding saw would) I have managed to knock the edge off the knife a couple of times. Using arkansas stones and a strop, the edge was easy to get back to factory sharp.
