Yes, I have both the original V-Gar belt and the V-2, and yes I love them and can't live without them, but...

I remember seeing on James's site about the leather V-3 belt, and how sweet would it be to have a black leather belt with a manrikigarrote inside? And I know someone out there has one, or has seen one, and inquiring minds want to know:

How the heck is it? And is it available yet?

I just received the new leather VGar belt and love it. Like everything I've purchased from James the new leather belt's workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. I wear the old belt to beat around in and the new leather belt when I need to dress up. I'm very pleased with the entire system.

Hey cbgold!!

What a lucky human being! The only person I know that has the leather V-3 belt...and you love it! So tell me please, does it look like the V-2 belt or the original? How does it work? I take it you have to velcro it together like the others? How about the belt buckle? Do you have the stainless steel or blackened?

TIA!!

I also have a leather vgar3 belt (black, brushed steel buckle). I don't have either of the other two belts, so I can't really comment on which one it's similar to. I agree with cbgold, it's a very well made belt. The inner zipper section is nylon, and the exterior is leather. The end of the belt is "hook" velcro and there is a patch of "loop" or "fuzzy" velcro on the exterior of the belt. You insert the end of the belt through the buckle, loop it back around and stick it to the patch. There is a smaller hidden pocket at the end of the belt. There is a zipper that runs the length of the belt to hold the manrikigarotte and the handle sticks out just a tad from the front of the belt to grab and pull.

Ok, I just looked at the pics of the other two belts and I would say that it's pretty much like the vgar2 belt except the exterior is leather.

Thanks a lot for the info suveges!! If I'm ever in Canada, or if you ever get to Chicago, I'll buy you a gallon of beer!

JSP, I guess I'll be calling you shortly with another order...

I seen it in Atlanta, it is outstanding.

Thanks Don! Heard you were hanging out with the 'Hossom gang' down in Atlanta... must've been great! Wish I could've been there...

Mr G.

It was outstanding this year, I may even make this a yearly thing. I was hovering around James table for a bit and watching the man sell his wares, like no one else can, even demonstrated a V-Gar for a Police Officer in Florida who loved it. That was great too...if you can make a cop a believer, you can do anything.

James had all sorts of neat things, new rectangular Ti-sticks, new checkbook blades, the Hook blade being my favorite. Lower prices and the same Craftsmanship even though it is SCP.

Rectangular Ti sticks? Hook blades? When can we see a few pictures?
