My wonderful girlfriend is the newest member of the "Ant Colony" :)

This was one of her V-Day gifts - and while she is classically quite girly, she
also has a keen interest in blades. A perfect match!
Complete with emergency hair ties and barrettes, she is ready for battle.
I asked if she wanted a lanyard, and she said "something flowery", so I tried
my first Chinese Flower Knot - both fun and challenging.
Did a different kind of wrap at her request and I'm quite happy with it.
(I also wrapped my Izula in all hot pink just for today, she thought that was pretty cute)

Anyway, I thought y'all might get a kick out of it.
I am a very lucky man to have her in my life.

NIce. I would like to see the other side of that wrap--I haven't seen one quite like that. How do you finish it off?
 
This is great! My wife unit has a pink Izzy on the way that she doesnt know about. We looked thew the Ant Wrap thread to see the colors you did here. Her knife won't be here for the 14th but she has a metric ton of other suprizes (cheaper than a divorce lawyer).

And good job on the flower. Nice touch!
 
I'm not sure how my wife would take it if I gave her a gift like that.
The Girly girl in her would love it, but it would just stay on her vanity and she'd never use it simply because "My man gave that to me". But the tomboy in her would have prefered that I gave her one in OD green with a camo para cord wrap so she could at least take it into the bush with me.
 
That looks great. I think most any lady would be happy with that gift....but get some chocolates just in case. :D

I showed your pic to my gf. She said why didn`t she get one. Suddenly my outdoors light doesn`t look so good anymore.
 
Wow great job..... I have never been a big fan of the girlie pink thing but seeing this makes me proud to be a girlie and now I want one. I have the pnik Izula of course and a few others but I wnat someone who can make mine look like that. :o Great job.:D

She also got some more traditional gifts just in case!

She's really happy with it. She grew up hunting and camping, so she knows
the value of a quality knife - even a cute one. :)

I'll try to get a shot of the other side of the wrap, it's a combo of whipping
at one end, and a tuck with a strategic drop or two of super glue at the other.
