Single handed opener made in 1994.Could i
hear from someone as to how many of these
FINE knives were made?Wayne

Hi Wayne,

Two Hundred were made. The last were completed in 1998.

Currently, Butch is making a smaller double action version. There will be 100 made and they have all been spoken for.

I talked with Butch today and he told me there will be a version with a Damascus blade and a polished black G-10 handle and titanium clip.

I should have one next week.

Don't wait too long Wayne or you wil be wishing you had one of these.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I noticed that your "interests' are Applegate/Fairbairn knives; that's really specializing

I own the large Combat Folder, the Covert, and a fighting fixed blade. The combat folder was the first folding knife I ever purchased (about 2 years ago) and it is responsible for launching me on the road to collecting knives (much to my wife's chagrin).
I really like the combat folder. Its solid, smooth, feel when it opens and closes is unmatched by any other knife I own, some costing 3x's as much. Oh, (and this REALLY puzzled the wife), I also bought a commemorative set to hang on the wall (puzzles me too)

I really like these knives and would like to what I can about them and the Colonel
Thanks

Mr. Robertson,

Do you know if the adresses listed fr Vallotton and Harsey in Knives '97 are still valid? They are:

Harsey:
82710 N. Howe Ln., Creswell, OR

Vallotton:
621 Fawn Ridge Dr., Oakland, OR

Thanks.

Curduroy,I looked for both Butch and William
for a month before finding either. The number
for both has been disconneted.I purchased
items from R G Russell connected to both men.
Hope that helps in some way, bookat.

If they are deliberately hard to find, I'm interested for a personal matter and not in regards to ordering a knife. Dunno if that matters. I can be contacted by email if anyone does not want to post their contact info.
