Well as you all know I think the para is probably the best edc I have bought to date. And this is saying alot. But today I detected a bit of up and down blade play, almost like the compression lock is moving a bit. Can't tell if it is or not but could be, hence the vertical play. Any self remedy to this? Can't seem to adjust it out. I am thinking a pivot stop pin slightly bigger in cirucmferance. So what's the deal here, any help is appreciated. keepem sharp

hi longbow, i just posted the same problem at the spyderco forum as well as this one. i got off the phone with amanda at spyderco and asked her about the vertical blade play and she said while a few paras have them it is not an acceptable thing. of course i could send it back to spyderco but instead i am sending it back to new graham knives were i purchased it. i have delt with them before and while i have never returned anything to them their reputation is a good one so i am not concerned. the lock up on the knife was not compromised in the least but the up and down just kills the knife for me. i am going to find one that is solid eventually as it is a great little knife. hi.
