I work at Sears in the auto shop and I have access to pounds of metal shavings from turning brake rotors and drums. Would this be a good medium to use in the making of vinegaroon?

I read somewhere that the old method of making it was to use iron turnings.

I recently read up on this and from what I understand any iron is good, but the smaller the better (rust faster). However, it should not be any kind of stainless steel, for best results.

Don't think there's any stainless in this bin of shavings, and they're ultra small. Gonna give it a try and see what I can come up with :)
