Vintage Lile Custom Hunting Knife

I have an opportunity to purchase a Lile hunting knife. Unfortunately, the knife is located in another state, so I cannot post photos. What I know about the knife is that an acquaintance of mine bought the knife from Lile at a Little Rock crafts show back in the mid seventies. It's about 12" in overall length and has a hardwood handle with brass pommel and guard. It's really a rather plain looking knife. It is marked "Hand Made by James B. Lile" and the marking appears to have been done with a vibro pencil. Anyone know what the low-end value would be for such a knife in gently used condition. I simply have no idea what to offer him and he is a friend, so I want to make him a fair offer. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
