Well, I can't cast an official vote, but I'm gonna say Stockman, followed closely by the Trapper.

I like the Whittlers. Mainly because I never have any use for the spay blade. The whittlers always have just what I need.

I voted for Jack, given the offerings, but prefer Harness Jack!

I put my vote to The Moose!!!
My second choice would be a 1-bladed jackknife.

I like 'em all...

But I find the most practical/useful patterns to be :

Barlow

Stockman

Trapper

Copperhead

I can't think of one I don't like. And my "favorite" changes with the wind. That's why I rotate my EDC.

I do like whittlers and canoes due to their slimness. Hence my support for the Canittler for the 2007 Forum Knife. Besides, of all the patterns I own, I don't have one of those. ;)

I also like smallish knives (Senators/pens) because I work in an office. While I also own and like trappers, Mountain Men, and hunters, they don't work well in that environment at all. I really like stockmen (especially sowbelly) because of the blade selection, but I find them a bit thick and heavy for pocket carry in slacks.

Today I've got a S&M Premier #7 (small) English Jack in my pocket.

So I guess I'll vote "other". :)

Whittler, then pretty much everything else. I'm currently enamored with Barlows. Who knows what it will be next week. I usually have a stockman with me. There wasn't a selection for everything.:)

My first knife was a stockman and that pattern(in my hands) will do more work than any other knife pattern I know.

Stockman.

By the way, I did this just to see how easy it was to put out a poll.

Real easy, if you ever want to do one.
