I recently bought the BUck "Revolution" Knife..i like it but it seems a bit gimmicky...they seem to sell a lot of strange knives..anyone else think so?

Yes, I think the Revolution line is kind of gimmicky. I'm not too wild about their more recent multicolored keychain baubles/multitools, either, for the same reason. But if they sell, more power to 'em.
I do like their new offerings of simple, reasonably priced folders, however.

Weird ? No.. Different ? Maybe some.
The way I look at it is they are trying to be creative and offer some things that other makers don't. There are people that really want something out of the ordinary....
I remember a few years back, I would have asked the same thing about Spyderco's ... Nothing wrong with the products, it was just different from what I was use to seeing....
