Walmart Buck's

I did a quick search but didnt find much (maybe I should have searched harder?).

Are there any differences in the Buck knives sold at walmart?

Specifically the 110, at BPS is is roughly $45 and walmart has it for around $35. Why the big difference? I know the at BPS it comes in a box and at Walmart a clam pack. Is the sheath different?

According to what I was told by Buck and Joe Houser they are the same knife. The price difference is the sheath. The ones at Wally World are not leather.

At my local Walmart, the 110's come in boxes. They rarely have any Bucks in clam packs.

My walmart carries both, usually the box has a nylon sheath and the clam-shell has leather, but not always. The difference is that there is 50 wal-marts to every one BPS (Or more, that's a shot in the dark) and how Wal-mart does bussiness. Id like to support Bass-pro but its a 90 minute drive to get there and there are 3 wal-marts within a 20 minute drive.

i don't like clam packs, i prefer the boxes. plus also when i'm not using my knife i like to put it back into the box.
